Animal and farmer welfare: this is the central theme of this edition of Space. Faresin is responding to this call with innovative solutions built into its products, with the ultimate goal being the health of livestock and a better work-life balance for operators. These technologies, studied in synergy with academia, have enabled mixer wagons and telehandlers to become established around the world. Intelligent machines that ensure the measurable profitability of livestock farms and are already ready for tomorrow’s agriculture.
Faresin ‘s mixer wagons are a reference in the market because they enable high-quality, homogeneous mixing. An excellent unifeed enables higher productivity because they improve the ingestion and digestibility of the ration which means increased production, reduced feed costs and ultimately improved animal welfare. This reduces the use of antibiotics and increases the environmental and economic sustainability of livestock farms.
Faresin will showcase at Space its most advanced technologies dedicated to animal husbandry and on-farm handling: the self-propelled Leader PF 2.22 Plus Ecomode two-auger 22 cu.m. unifeed mixer wagons and Leader PF 1.14 Ecomix one-auger 14 cu.m. and, finally, the Twinner 1600 trailed, twin-auger with straw-thrower, 16 cu.m.
Also on display for the first time at Space will be the innovative 6.26 Full Electric, the world’s first fully electric telehandler. Silent and highly maneuverable, this telescopic lift is intended for use in enclosed places where emissions and noise must be limited such as stables, poultry farms, greenhouses, cold rooms, wineries, food laboratories, environmentally friendly certified companies, etc.
This telehandler cuts down on noise: with only 6.4 dBA it works by generating a buzz equivalent to that of an office. The 6.26 Full Electric is equipped with two electric motors powered by lithium batteries with enough autonomy for a full day’s work.
FOCUS PRODUCTS ON DISPLAY
The self-propelled mixer wagons Leader PF 2.22 Plus Ecomode, dedicated to large farms, and Leader PF 1.14 Ecomix, for smaller realities, are designed to make a perfectly homogeneous, high-quality mix. This is made possible by the special auger geometry and cutter that ensure high cutting efficiency while fully respecting the fiber. The Leader Ecomode version, in addition, includes an automatic 0/40 km/h hydrostatic transmission control.
Geometry and high innovation level also for the Twinner, a trailed unifeed that guarantees unprecedented mixing quality thanks to the special conformation of the auger, designed to push the product upward. With this straw-thrower mode, the mixer wagon can perform the dual function of feed distribution and litter preparation.
Faresin was the first manufacturer in the world to bring to market a full Electric telescopic handler, which offers advantages in terms of: up to 60 percent reduction in operating costs, elimination of maintenance, and above all, zero impact.
