Mons. Camillo Faresin Onlus

The Mons. Camillo Faresin Onlus Foundation, established in January 2004, is apolitical, non-profit and none of its members can be paid for the work they do on its behalf. It exclusively pursues purposes of social solidarity towards disadvantaged people and members of foreign communities, limited to humanitarian aid in the areas of:

  • social welfare and social health care;
  • Promotion of initiatives, conditions and opportunities for work that foster social and economic growth.
Mon Camillo Faresin

Insieme Aiutiamo Il Mondo

The Foundation was established mainly in Guiratinga, in Brazil’s Mato Grosso, where Monsignor Camillo and Don Santo Faresin dedicated their lives as Salesian missionaries. The Foundation Board has direct contact with the Diocese of Guiratinga through the presence of the Sisters of the Divine Will of Bassano del Grappa and the Bishop of Guiratinga. Thanks to these people, a committee was appointed in Guiratinga for the purpose of proposing projects that represent the real needs of the community. The projects of the Monsignor Camillo Fareisn Onlus Foundation concern:

  • support for the Seminarians of the Diocese of Guiratinga;
  • The support of courses suitable for the educational and job training of the youth of the Diocese;
  • Support for women’s handicrafts;
  • Support for the Gaetana Sterni Nursing Home and its elders;
  • support for families most in need through the funding of “Basic Hampers” containing basic necessities.

Today, Msgr. Camillo Faresin’s hand is still outstretched toward the other, thanks to the Foundation that bears his name. South America, Africa, Asia, Europe: wherever there is a need for assistance and solidarity, the Mons. Camillo Faresin Onlus Foundation is there. It raises funds, collaborates with nonprofits and, thanks to the support of donations, gradually expands its reach. This is how one man’s example continues. With all its strength.
